How to Get the Most Out of BioSil®

Whether you’re starting BioSil® capsules, we want to help you get the most out of your journey to beautiful skin, hair, and nails.

It’s important to understand that BioSil® — unlike many collagen supplements — does not contain collagen itself. Instead, using the ch-OSA® complex, it acts as a collagen booster that works naturally to generate and protect your own collagen, elastin, and keratin.

That makes it uniquely effective but also means that visible effects can take minimum 3 months as the supplements restore your body’s natural glow.

Here’s how to ensure you get the most out of the process:

Find your routine to ensure you’re taking BioSil® regularly

Just like beauty, BioSil® is a marathon, not a sprint. Reactivating the biological pathways that produce collagen, elastin, and keratin takes time, and taking BioSil® twice a day helps keep that process moving, one dose at a time.

Try taking your BioSil® as part of a daily milestone that you know you won’t forget. With a meal, or before brushing your teeth, for example. We’ve all had the experience of letting a new habit slip during that early adjustment period, but tying BioSil® to a routine you’ve already cemented will help.

We recommend one dose in the mornings and one dose in the evenings (8-16 hours later), but finding an interval that fits your schedule is the priority.

Don’t disrupt what’s already working

Good news: there’s no need to worry if your daily routine includes other types of collagen supplement. There are no known contraindications between BioSil® and other beauty supplements, meaning that you won’t have to disrupt established habits.

Trying to change too much to fit your BioSil® doses might make it more difficult to find a routine you can stick to. You can also subscribe to BioSil® top-ups or reorder reminders that help keep your daily doses on track.

Nourish and protect your skin to help your progress

Your response time to BioSil® — and the time it takes to achieve those clinically-proven results — can vary based on a number of factors. While there’s no magic bullet for speeding up your reactivated collagen production, you can help it along by taking some simple, natural steps to boost and protect your collagen.

For example, adding Vitamin C- and antioxidant-rich foods to your diet can help fuel your body’s collagen-producing enzymes. Similarly, avoiding the edible enemies of healthy skin — like caffeine and refined carbs — helps to reduce the strain on your complexion and protect the collagen you already have.

Taking a few small steps to protect your skin and hair from the sun can also make a huge difference.

By reducing the external and internal strain on your skin, you’ll ease the burden on your collagen-producing cells (such as the fibroblasts in your skin) as they get their BioSil® boost.

Don’t sweat a missed dose…

Once your BioSil® routine is rolling, missing a dose or two isn’t the end of the world. Forgetfulness happens. When it does, get back into a routine, but don’t beat yourself up over a missed dose. It might slow the process, your body’s collagen regeneration should catch up after a few days of regular BioSil® use.

With that said, we don’t recommend taking more than two doses a day in an attempt to make up for a missed dose. Remember: the important thing is to regularly support your collagen production.

...but don’t stop as results start to show

That regular support is still important once you start to notice results. Rejuvenating your skin takes a steady supply of collagen throughout your life, and BioSil® can continue to support that process even as your natural collagen production would slow without it.

For the best results, that means keeping up with your routine as your hair thickens and your skin regains its glow. A steady dose as you continue to age will help maintain your results over time. Still skeptical? Taking before and after photos can help you see how far you’ve really come! Most importantly, don’t forget to celebrate your progress! Showing yourself some well-deserved love is all part of nurturing your natural beauty.
